It’s not hard to find a place that screens the latest apocalyptic nightmare movie or superhero adventure or Pixar film.
But as more and more movies move to malls and mega-complexes, it can be hard to find a place to watch what might be characterized as “artsy-fartsy” film on the big screen.
So I thought I would give a quick recommendation: The Show Room. Films are a pretty reasonable 10 bucks, and you get a wide range of options, from Joss Whedon’s take on Shakespeare to a black-and-white trip to New York, to a documentary on beekeeping.
The Showroom hosts Q&As and movie/meal deals, and just generally accomplishes a nice indie vibe.
