The annual WFMU record fair was cancelled in 2012 in the wake of Hurricane Sandy. Fortunately, the station is starting off the new year with another exciting event for the masses – the WFMU Mini-Record Fair and Benefit Show!
Head down to the Bell House in Gowanus, Brooklyn, next Sunday (Jan. 13) to enjoy the fair for half the day (11 am – 5 pm, no admission after 3) and browse the record stashes of about 30 dealers. At 7 pm the show begins, featuring Arrington Di Dionyso, Dot Wiggins (of The Shaggs), Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, and the Relatives.
Tickets are $10 for the fair and $20 for the concert, and all proceeds will go towards WFMU’s post-Sandy recovery. Advance concert tickets can be purchased here. Enjoy!
