WPRB is unique in its jazz programing. It is very rare for a radio station to feature jazz every day of the week. This is exactly what happens at WPRB. Our Jazz programing runs from 11am-1pm on weekdays, as well as every Sunday morning.

WPRB Jazz hold an active interest in jazz performance in the Princeton area. In this spirit, the department offers an up-to-date Jazz Concert Calendar, which is read on the air weekdays at noon. WPRB Jazz also supports local jazz talents, and in the past, programming has featured
on-air performances and interviews.

Lastly, the station plays a wide range of "jazz," ranging from traditional to avant-garde (Check out the weekly Jazz Top 10 online). WPRB Jazz is continually looking for fresh ideas that push the boundaries of jazz. New music is always welcome; it really is what makes the station run.
