News + Culture on WPRB, also known as the station’s News Department, is a group of student producers and journalists who use radio and new media to deliver stories not covered by other media outlets. The department produces a variety of programming each year, including talk shows, news magazines, and interview programs. Topics range from domestic politics and foreign policy to the arts, the sciences, and technology. News alumnae include Charlie Gibson (ABC), Alan Flippen (New York Times), and others. Located in Princeton, NJ on the campus of Princeton University, WPRB is a non-profit media outlet founded in 1940.
